OUR COMMITMENT AND APPROACH

We believe that your child deserves the best quality dance education. Whether the student takes dance for recreation, fitness or for formal training, the ideals learned in the dance studio play an important part in a studentís development. We encourage them to work towards reaching their present and future needs, hopes and dreams.

Dance develops life skills, increases confidence, self-esteem, communication, co-ordination, as well as posture and physical strength. It provides the students with new and exciting challenges as well as opportunities to meet new friends.

Our instructorís committed and dedicated approach, combined with their love and knowledge of dance inspires the students to learn and enjoy! We promote a positive learning environment where each childís special qualities shine through. We encourage and support the student in building self-esteem and instill personal goal setting.

We are committed to building a long-term relationship with each student and their family, which is founded upon mutual trust, respect, co-operation and friendship.

General Information

Our school year runs from September to June, excluding statutory and school holidays, as listed in the school calendar.

In order to allow our instructors to bond with each student, student/teacher ratios are kept small. Registration is done on a first come first served basis. Class space is limited, therefore we encourage you to register early. Registrations need to be completed at the office.

Dancing at Star Dance Academy is formal. Students must wear a uniform with correct grooming. For your convenience, uniforms can be bought directly from the school upon registration.
